Qualification

• Professor: A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.) A post-graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. M.Ch. for surgical super -specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years and 6 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Eleven years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty for the candidates possessing 3 years or post MBBS 6 years recognized degree of D.M/M.Ch in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Master’s degree in concerned specialty. A doctorate degree from a recognized university.

Salary Details

• Professor: Rs. 168900/- per month
• Additional Professor: Rs. 148200/- per month
• Associate Professor: Rs. 138300/- per month
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 101500/- per month

Age Limit

• Professor, Additional Professor: 58 years as of 31st January 2022.
• Associate Professor, Assistant Professor: 50 years as of 31st January 2022.

Age Relaxation: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman, 10 years for PWBD
