About Assam Irrigation Exam :-
All the Candidates who filled the Application Form Successfully Will face the Exam. The Exam will be Conducted Soon and the Date will be Announce later on the Official website of Irrigation Department of Assam. More Details about the Exam is given Below.
As the time passing away the standard of competitive examination is raising with the time period rapidly. So, candidates also must have to pay more attention towards their preparation to give the best in their examination. Now, we are rendering the determined latest scheme of examination and syllabus for your best preparation regards this test conducting by Irrigation Department of Assam.
Selection Process :-
OMR based written examination will be held for all category of posts at specified locations to be decided in due course of time. Wherever applicable, the shortlisted candidates will be called for a Computer Proficiency test/ Skill test the date and venue of which will be notified later on. Selection of candidates shall be on the basis of OMR based written test and Computer proficiency test (as applicable). There will not be any Viva-Voce in the selection process against any of the posts.
Junior Assistant (HoD Level and District Level)
Exam Pattern :– The Candidates will be selected on the basis of combined tests i.e. written examination and Computer Test with details breakup of marks as follows.
- The candidates will have to attend 100 objective type questions in the written test.
- For every correct answer the candidate will be awarded 1(one) mark.
- The Time Duration Will be 2 hours.
- The question(s) not attempted will receive no credit or discredit.

Note:
- The candidates equal to 4 times the number of vacancies (1:4), in order of merit in written examination, will be called for Computer Proficiency Test and checking of original testimonials.
- On the basis of marks obtained in Written Test and Computer Test (MS office or equivalent), the final panel will be prepared for appointment in order of merit.
Section Assistant
Exam Pattern: The Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination with details breakup of marks as follows.
- The candidates will have to attend 100 objective type questions in the written test.
- For every correct answer the candidate will be awarded 1(one) mark.
- The Time Duration Will be 2 hours.
- The question(s) not attempted will receive no credit or discredit.

- The candidates will have to attend 75 objective type questions in the written test.
- For every correct answer the candidate will be awarded 1(one) mark.

- The question(s) not attempted will receive no credit or discredit.
