In The Assam Police Constable Guardsman Recruitment, The First Test Will Be PST, Second Will Be PET, Third Will Be Written Test, And Last Will Be Extra-Curricular Activities and Special Skills.

PST
- It Will Carry No Marks
- After Clearing PST, he/she will have to appear in the PET (Physical Efficiency Test).
PET
- The PET Will Be Of 40 Marks.
- It Will Have 2 (two) Events
- Race & Long Jump.
Assam Police Constable Guardsman Race Description
For Male Candidates
Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 3200 meters. race to be
completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds).
For Female Candidates
Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 1600 meters. race to be
completed within 08 minutes.

For Male Candidates

| For 840 Sec. or less but more than 839 Sec. : | 10 marks |
| For time more than 840 Sec. (14 min) no marks will be awarded and the candidate will be declared as disqualified. | No Marks |

Assam Police Constable Guardsman Long Jump Description
For Male Candidates
Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
For Female Candidates
Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).

Assam Police Constable Guardsman Written Test Exam Pattern: –
(A) Written test will consist of 100 multiple choice type questions to be answered on an OMR answer sheet. For each correct answer, the candidate will get half a mark. Questions will be of the level of class IX and X. Total marks for the Written Test will be 50. There will be no negative marking. The subjects to be covered will be as follows:
- Elementary Arithmetic
- General English
- Logical reasoning/ Mental ability
- Assam’s History, Geography, Polity, Economy
- General Awareness/General Knowledge and current affairs
(B) Written Tests will be conducted throughout the State on the same day in each district. The date of the written test will be notified in due course.
Extra-Curricular Activities and Special Skills :
Extra-Curricular Activities and Special Skills Will Be Of Maximum 10 Marks.
It Will have the Following Events
- Educational Qualification – 5 marks
- NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC) – 03 Marks
- SPORTS – 5 Marks
- PROFICIENCY IN COMPUTERS – 05 Marks
- Diploma/Certificate course from ITI/Polytechnic – 03 Marks
