Screening Test
Exam Pattern:-
- The Exam Will be Screening Objective Type.
- The Screening Test will be of 90 Marks with 90 Questions.
- The Time Duration of Written Exam Will be 01 Hour.
- Marathi – 10 Marks
- English – 20 Marks
- General Knowledge – 10 Marks
- General Intelligence – 20 Marks
- Arithmetic – 20 Marks
- Computer – 10 Marks
- Minimum Qualifying Marks – 45 Marks
Exam Syllabus:- The Exam Syllabus for Clerk Screening Test is Given Below:
Marathi : Vocabulary, Grammar, Antonyms, Synonyms, Idioms & Phrases, Transformation of sentences, Fill in the Blanks, Comprehensions, Tenses and Usage of words.
English : Literature, Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.
General Knowledge : History, Geography and Socio-Economic development of India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.
Arithmetic : Arithmetic Progressions, Elementary Number Theory, Areas and Volumes, Polynomials, Euclidean Geometry, Inequalities, Calculus, Probability, Linear Equations in two variables, Quadratic Equations, Combinatorics, Matrices, A pair of Linear Equations in two variables, Trigonometry, Real Numbers, Coordinate Geometry and Statistics.
General Intelligence : Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture.
Computer Knowledge : Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.
Typing Test
The English Language Typing Test Carrying 20 Marks Shall Comprise of 300 words to be typed by the candidates within 10 minutes (30 wpm) on Computers. The English Typing Test will be taken on Computer only. The Font Will be Kruti Dev-055.(Proposed)
Interview
Only Candidates qualifying typing test would be called for Viva-Voce/Interview of 40 marks.
