Selection Process :

  • Written Exam.

Exam Pattern :

Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

  • The Exam Will be of Computer Based Test.
  • The Question Paper will be of 100 Objective Type.
  • The Question Paper will be in Hindi & English.
  • The Questions Paper Will be divided in Two Parts. Part I Will be of 80 Questions on Professional Subjects & Part II will be of 20 Questions on General Awareness & Reasoning.
  • The Interview will be of 15 Marks.
  • The Time Duration of Exam 02 Hours (120 Minutes)
  • There Will be Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks

Note : The minimum qualifying marks in the Online CBT for the selection process shall be UR/OBC – 40% & SC/ST – 30 %.

Exam Syllabus :

Exam Syllabus for Examination is given below :-

Professional Subjects:-  The Question will be asked from the Professional Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical & Information Technology.

General Awareness:- History, Geography and Socio Economic development of West Bengal & India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.

Reasoning:– Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
