| Junior Stenographer | Skill Test = 40 points Written Examination/CBT =60 points (The marks obtained in the Skill Test shall be proportionately allotted against 40 points earmarked for the Skill Test) |
| Junior Scale Stenographer | Skill Test = 40 points Written Examination/CBT =60 points (The marks obtained in the Skill Test shall be proportionately allotted against 40 points earmarked for the Skill Test) |
| Junior Assistant | Skill Test = 20 points Written Examination/CBT=80 points (The marks obtained in the Type Test shall be proportionately allotted against 20 points earmarked for the Type Test) |

About Admit Card :-
Facility for download of Admit Cards will be available about one week before the Date of Examination on the official website of the Board i.e www.jkssb.nic.in. Candidate must bring printout of the Admit Card/Roll Number Card/Slip to the Examination Hall.
In addition to the Roll Number Card/Slip, it is mandatory to carry at least two passport size recent colour photographs, Original valid Photo-ID proof such as:
- Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar,
- Voter’s ID Card,
- Driving License,
- PAN Card,
- Passport,
- College/University ID Card,
- Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU/ Private), etc.

- Candidates Can Login By Name or By Application No./Barcode.
- Fill all the Required Details.
- Click on Submit Option.

Exam Pattern :–
The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows:
- The Exam Will be Objective Type.
- Questions will be in the form of Multiple Type Choice Questions (MCQs).
- The questions will be set in English only.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Tentative Answer Keys will be uploaded on the website in due course after the Examination.
