  • HPIM. (Siddha) or GCIM (Siddha) or MD (Siddha) or B.I.M (Siddha) or L.I.M (Siddha) or a degree in B.S.M.S. awarded by any one of the recognized Universities including Dr.M.G.R. Medical University of Tamil Nadu or any other recognized degree or diploma in Siddha, the holders of which are eligible for registration under ‘A’ Class or ‘A ‘ Special Class with the Central Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai.
  • Must have registered his/ her name with the Central Board of Indian Medicine/ Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council, Chennai
2. Assistant Medical Officer (Ayurveda)
  • HPIM (Ayurveda) or GCIM (Ayurveda) or L.I.M. (Ayurveda) or a degree in B.A.M.S. awarded by any one of the recognized Universities including Dr.M.G.R. Medical University of Tamil Nadu or any other recognized degree or diploma in Ayurveda, the holders of which are eligible for registration under ‘A’ Class or ‘A’ Special Class with the Central Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai
  • Must have registered his/ her name with the Central Board of Indian Medicine/ Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai
3. Assistant Medical Officer (Homoeopathy)
  • Post Gradaute Diploma/ Diploma/ Government Diploma in Integrated Medicine (Homoeopathy)/D.H.M.S/ L.C.E.H/ L.C.E.H. or G.C.E.H/ B.H.M.S/ P.R.S.M/ L.R.H.S/ H.L.M.S/ H.M.B/ N.I.M
  • Candidates should have registered His/Her name in the Tamil Nadu Homoeopathy Council
4. Assistant Medical Officer (Unani) BUM&S or other equivalent degrees which are included, in the Second Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970, the holders of which are eligible for registration under Class “ A “ special or class’s “A” the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Madras.
5. Assistant Medical Officer/ Lecturer Grade-II (Yoga and Naturopathy)
  • Must have passed a degree or diploma in Naturopathy with not less than four years academic duration awarded by a recognized University
  • Must have registered his name with the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai.

Age Limit

Candidates who are interested in the TN MRB AMO Jobs 2021 should be having the following maximum age limit.

  • SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC&DCs, BCs, BCMs (including Ex-Servicemen belonging to these communities) – 58 years
  • Others – 35 years
  • Ex-Servicemen Belonging to “Others” – 48 years

TN MRB AMO Salary

The selected candidates would be getting a salary of Level-22 Rs.56100-177500/-

TN MRB Assistant Medical Officer Selection Process

For TN MRB AMO Vacancy 2021,  selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test. The Computer Based Test is Likely to be conducted tentatively during the month of November 2021.
