About UPPCL Assistant Review Officer Recruitment :-
Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has recently announced the recruitment of 14 Posts of Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari (Assistant Review Officer (ARO)). About Exam Pattern :-
The Exam Pattern will be as following :-
- The Exam will be of Written Type.
- There will be Two Parts for Written Exam.
- The Written Exam will be Bilingual i.e. English & Hindi.
- Part – 1 will be of 50 Marks of Computer Knowledge with 50 Questions (Only Qualifying Nature With 20 Marks).
- Part 2 of Written Exam will be as follows-

About Exam Syllabus :-
The Exam Syllabus is as follows:
Part – 1
Computer Knowledge : In this Exam the Question will be asked from O Level of NIELIT. All questions will be related to Computer Knowledge.
Part – 2
General Study : History, Geography and Socio-Economic development of Uttar Pradesh and India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India
Logical knowledge : Analogy, Classification, Also Alphabet Series, Number Series/ Puzzle, Mixed Series, Coding as well as Decoding, Blood Relation, Direction and Distance, Also, Problem-based on Comparison, Word Formation, Logical Sequence of Words, Schedule Time/ Date/ Day/ Year, Clock and Calendar, Also, Venn Diagram, Syllogisms, Mathematical Operation, Arithmetical Reasoning as well as Matrix based Reasoning, Cubes and Dice, Counting and Figures, Also, Figure Formation and Analysis, Paper Cutting and Folding, Visual Reasoning, Mirror and Water Image, Besides, Non-verbal series, etc.
General Hindi : वर्तनी की सामान्य अशुद्धियाँ तथा शब्दों के शब्द रूप, शब्दों के स्त्रीलिंग, बहुवचन, किसी वाक्य को अन्य लिंग में परिवर्तन, मुहावरा व उनका अर्थ, अशुद्ध वाक्यों के शुद्ध रूप, विलोमार्थी शब्द, समानार्थी व पर्यायवाची शब्द, अनेक शब्दों के लिए एक शब्द, कहावतें व लोकोक्तियां के अर्थ, संधि विच्छेद, क्रिया से भाववाचक संज्ञा बनाना, रचना एवं रचयिता इत्यादि|
General English : Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, prepositions, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc.
UPPCL ARO Typing & Shorthand Test
Stenography Test :
In this Exam there will be a Dictation in Hindi for which the Candidates will get 05 Minutes. To write this Dictation on Computer the Candidates will got 30 Minutes. So This exam will be of 30 Minutes.
Typing Test :
This Exam will be conducted in Hindi and English Both Language. The Hindi Typing Test will be taken in Kruti Dev 010 or 016 Font. For this Test the Candidates needs to Participate in 05 Minutes of Exam on Computer to Calculate the Typing Speed.
Note : Candidates should type the 80 words/ Minute. At the Speed of 40-40 Words/ Minute in Hindi & English for the Selection.
