Educational Qualification

  • Three years  Diploma  examination  in  Electrical  Engineering awarded  by the  Pravidhik Shiksha Panshad, Uttar Pradesh or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, recognized by the State Government OR
  • Three years All India Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India OR
  • Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in  India incorporated by an Act of the Central/ State legislature

Note: Diploma received through Distance Learning Education will not be eligible

UPPCL JE Salary

As per 7th Pay commission (Pay Matrix level-7; Rs. 44,900/- (minimum level in revised pay matrix)). Dearness and other allowances are admissible as per the rules of UPPCL.

Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as of 1st January 2021.

Application Fee

  • SC (Domicile of U.P.) Category/ ST (Domicile of U.P.) Category – Rs. 826/- (GST Included)
  • Unreserved Category/ EWS Category/ Other Backward Class (OBC) – Rs. 1,180/- (GST Included)
  • Physically Handicapped (Only Processing Charges) – Rs. 12/- (GST Included)
  • Candidates other than the state of U.P. (Any Category) – Rs. 11,801/- (GST Included)

UPPCL JE Selection Process

The selection process will be based on Computer Based Test only. Computer Based Test     (CBT) will be held at Varanasi, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, and Meerut cities.
